Progress Reports and Parent-Teacher Communication
To keep parents informed about their child’s academic progress, the college issues comprehensive progress reports at the end of each grading period or term. Interim reports may also be sent to highlight exceptional achievements or areas of concern. Parents are encouraged to reach out to teachers directly through written correspondence or phone calls to discuss their child’s academic performance and any specific concerns.
Religious Education
A Foundation for Spiritual Growth
At Punjab Cadet College Murree, we believe that a strong spiritual foundation is essential for a well-rounded education. To foster a deep connection with their faith, cadets participate in daily religious activities:
- Daily Prayers: Five daily prayers are offered in the college mosque.
- Quranic Recitation: Regular recitation of the Holy Quran.
- Islamic Studies: Islamic studies are a compulsory part of the curriculum.
- Religious Services: Weekly religious services are held in the mosque.
- Friday Prayers: Cadets attend Friday prayers at the college mosque or a nearby mosque of their choice.
- Religious Competitions: Qirat and Naat competitions are organized to encourage spiritual engagement.
The college’s dedicated religious teachers provide guidance and instruction to help cadets develop a strong moral compass and a deep understanding of Islamic values.
A Welcoming Environment for All Faiths
While Islam is a central part of the college’s ethos, we also welcome cadets from other faith traditions. We believe that exposure to diverse religious perspectives can enrich a student’s spiritual and intellectual growth.
The college provides a respectful and inclusive environment where cadets can explore their own faith and learn about other religions.
